SkiStar is one of Scandinavia’s leading mountain tourism companies, operating destinations across Sweden and Norway. The company’s business concept is to create memorable mountain experiences by offering complete solutions for active holidays throughout the year. Its operations are organised into three segments: operation of mountain resorts, hotel operations, and property development and exploitation.

SkiStar’s destinations are located in Sälen, Åre, and Vemdalen in Sweden, as well as Hemsedal and Trysil in Norway.

During 2024/25, SkiStar’s operations were characterised by continued strong demand for mountain holidays and winter activities, while the industry was influenced by varying weather conditions and evolving booking patterns. SkiStar reported stable demand and strong guest volumes across its destinations.

Results

Strong demand for mountain holidays contributed to increased revenues during parts of the year, with record earnings reported in the second quarter.

Events during the year

Continued investments were made in lift infrastructure, snowmaking systems, and destination development, alongside further enhancements of digital services and subscription-based offerings.
